Welcome to Western Kentucky!!
To ALL of you who hail from the Bayou State of LOUISIANA!
"Laissez les bons temps rouler"
We are a SOCIAL Group!
AAAAAYYYYYYEEEEEEEE!!!
Founded on November 16th, 2007
with 5 former LOUISIANA residents in attendance!
OUR STORYFor years "Lost Cajuns" wandered Western Kentucky,
aimlessly wondering where they could find a good
CRAWFISH BOILand enjoy that boil with others who know how to PINCH the tails
& SUCK the heads!!!
One AMAZING year, the
Saints were having a winning season.
All of the sudden, many "brave"
Saints &
LSU fans were seen around
Wildcat dressed in BLACK &
PURPLE &
GOLD PRIDE!!!!
So, someone finally decided to see exactly how many people from HOME actually live in Western Kentucky.
And maybe, just maybe, meet other souls who have been cheering for THE SAINTS for the past 30 years too!!
Astoundingly, within the first six months, more than 35 LOUSIANA people were located living in and around the BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY area.
Thus, a wonderful, strange-talking, fun-loving, fast-thinking FAMILY of new WESTERN KENTUCKY friends was born!
And every single one of us "Knows What It Means To Miss New Orleans and Louisiana!"
WE HAVE DONE IT!
We have "found" our own little LOUISIANA neighborhood right here in Western Kentucky!

Our First Meet-up
We get our roots from the LOST CAJUNS of EAST TENNESSEE. They are 3 years old and have over 290 families.
Among those 290 families are former LOUISIANA residents from St. Bernard (a.k.a. "da Parish!"), Orleans, Jefferson, Acadiana, St. Mary Parish, etc, etc!
Bayou Towns such as Lake Charles, Lafayette, Amite, River Ridge, Gretna, Chalmete, New Iberia, Alexandra, Central, Lockport, Houma, Baton Rouge, Praireville, Kenner, Breaux Bridge, Monroe, Marksville, Hammond, Raceland, Luling, Meaux, Jeanerette, Morgan City, Slidell, Kaplan, and Westwego!
There are many people from LOUISIANA living in our area, some you may already know, some you don't.
So don't be shy! Next time you see someone wearing familiar colors, stop and ask; invite them to join us.
